The mpa focusses on supporting, guiding and building pastors up for the demands and challenges of ministry. Our greatest desire is to see how spiritual leaders return to their congregations with new vision, passion and equipment after spending time with us to make a difference.
The mpa strives towards shaping and equipping spiritual leaders who encourage spiritual transformation within their congregations, communities, country and the world.
The mpa hosts a three-day conference at Moreleta Park to bring leaders from all denominations together for a period of rest and equipping. Our focus is to facilitate a process where these leaders can grow in their relationship with God and so that they may return with new energy to fulfil their calling. We discuss topics such as our calling, congregational growth, the desert path, forgiveness and letting go, fulfilment with the Holy Spirit and self-care and time management.
During the three-day conference, we also present a spousal program which focusses on your spouse’s support in the ministry.
We also facilitate a three-day equipping discussion for Young Pastors on a game farm on the specific problems that a young pastor experiences in the first few years.
Furthermore, we offer a one-day conference to church board members and congregational leaders to equip them to support their pastor and to help the congregation to make a greater spiritual impact.
In following up on our conferences we support congregations who have a need for further equipping, motivation or strategic planning. This support network has been done right across South Africa and abroad.
We supply literature, media and other materials to offer support.
The mpa offers all conferences and equipping at no charge and will supply meals and, if necessary, accommodations. Therefore, the mpa is completely dependent on donations to supply this service. We thank the Lord that He has been continually and faithfully providing the necessary finances.
We are struck to see how the Lord works and does wonders. There is nothing as wonderful as hearing that a pastor is leading his congregation to grow and make a greater impact in the world with new passion and fire! We have seen pastors meet the Lord anew and how the Holy Spirit has filled their hearts, then change congregations, communities and towns. We believe that it is God’s plan for revolution in our country.
The mpa is a non-profit organisation (NPO) with own directorship under the chairmanship of Mr Jannie de Villiers, and the executive director is ds. Willem Badenhorst.
The mpa offers the following events and wants to encourage you to attend one of these occasions
Shamelessly centred around Christ and His Word. Unconditionally under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
We invite you to 2 days of upliftment, encouragement and equipping.
As others testify, we trust that you will return home as inspired and renewed - equipped to grow further as a leader.
